Debé Gunn, Songwriter, Producer
Debé has written for and produced recording artists in English and Spanish in Pop, R&B, Latin, Jazz, Country and Rock. Starting professionally as a sax player, she understands vocalists and their struggles to express -- bringing magic into the recording studio. Debé also is the lyricist and composer for the musical “Nightbloom.” A globetrotter/tri-lingual world citizen, in 2017 she released her award-winning, first all-Spanish album, “Diamantes Mariachi,” During that time, “Trumpet Teardrops,” her jazz/pop songs with Mariachi trumpeters was produced. While recording in Guadalajara, she also wrote and recorded an second award-winning CD for the Mariachi, "Bendiciones Mariachi." Soon to be released, "Banda Boom Boom," fresh Latin Pop and an album of some of Debé's immortal jazz songs featuring a secret major jazz artist! TBA!

Debé wrote her entire new Banda album right along this stretch of Ensenada, Mexican beach. You will usually find Brutus, her loyal, wonderful, wild Jack Russell, by her side -- be it by the waves, or in the studio.
